Sleek Scandanavian Design and Innovative Technology in the 2020 Volvo S60
What's New for the 2020 Volvo S60?
The Volvo S60 is on its third generation, and this newest generation is sharper than ever. It comes with additional driver aids building on the blind-spot monitor that now includes steering collision avoidance. All models receive a virtual instrument panel to see all your gauges. Now available as a standard feature on the R-Design trim is the four-zone climate control, interior lighting, and a tailored dashboard.
Solid Acceleration and Braking Performance
The three available engines on the Volvo S60 provide impressive power behind all your acceleration. The T5 comes standard on the Momentum trim and uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine giving you 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes mated to an eight-speed automatic and front-wheel drive.
The next engine, the T6, upgrades to a turbocharged and supercharged version of the previous engine outputting a total of 316 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. You'll have a little more control over the streets of San Leandro with this engine's all-wheel-drive system.
For our Oakland, CA drivers that want to minimize their carbon footprint, there is a hybrid engine option on the Volvo S60. The T8 Hybrid houses the same engine as the T6 but ends up adding electric motors that produce a combined output of 400 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque. When the T8 Hybrid is paired to the Polestar Engineered trim there is a higher output of horsepower totaling in at 415 and increased to 494 pound-feet of torque.
Safety
Volvo takes pride in its profound ability to protect its drivers with vehicles that have a plethora of safety features. The Volvo S60 keeps you and yours safe as you glide through the streets of Berkeley with its advanced safety features.
You'll find forward collision warning, full-speed automatic emergency braking, run-off road mitigation, and a lane keeping assist to give you the peace of mind you need. Also included in the S60's safety package is a drowsy warning system and remote vehicle controls giving you any pertinent updates on your vehicle.

Driving in a Volvo S60 keeps you constantly connected through its nine-inch vertically oriented touchscreen that comes with Volvo's Sensus infotainment system. There are two available USB ports to keep your phone charged and a ten-speaker audio system with satellite radio and an auxiliary jack.
Simple and Sleek Design
The Volvo S60 delivers all the comforts that you would expect in a vehicle, starting with the heated four-way power-adjustable driver's seats.
